Fridge Wisdom: Baby on Borg
.
I’ve had this one in the queue for a long time. Because it keeps being true. But there’s a new Star Trek movie coming out, so I figure now’s as good a time as any to drop this bit of Fridge Wisdom.
TODDLERS ARE LIKE THE BORG. Whatever you throw at them, they adapt, reconfigure their circuitry, then come at you full strength with a whole new arsenal.
And whether it’s through precociousness, manipulation or rage, you’d better…
.
Here’s some bonus funny for you Trekkier readers out there ā my Borg nickname designation for JJ:
.
Live Long and Prosper, particularly those of you with toddlers.

I love every part of this.
P.S. If your wake up one morning to discovered that your toddler hsd done this with your refrigerator magnets, RUN OUT OF THE HOUSE.
Thanks DD! š
And yeah, some nights when we’re fighting to keep him in bed, I half expect the magnets to spell “REDRUM” in the morning…

Please do this for every tentpole movie that comes out moving forward.
Hilarious.
Alan:
Glad you like. And I also like your idea! It would be a way for me to feel like I still get to GO to all the tentpole movies like I used to ā pre-toddler. š
Thanks for stopping by!

I am still waiting for my last contribution to your fridge wisdom to make it on the blog š
LOL. You need to come up with some new material, Mr. GHETTO FRIDGE. š
The Borg analogy is good. I call my children Velociraptors since when they want something they will patiently test the fence until they find a weakness and then will exploit that weakness until they eat you alive. .
Its been a long day at home and at work. Its amazing how much trouble kids can get into in the first 30 minutes of their day.
CJ:
The only way The Borg analogy falls apart is in that they’re pretty much free of emotion. Toddlers are another story! š
But I love the raptor analogy as well! Hope your day got better and your weekend is as relaxing as it can be.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is one of the funniest posts ever. Love everything about it.
Thanks Mary! It always surprises me which posts click with folks. Who knew it would be The Borg? š

This is a great post, and a great blog. You and your partner are doing such a great job
Thanks Christopher! And as to your other, more monumental compliment ā we do our best.
And I’ll have to share your blog with my Dad (who’s a Baptist minister in Virginia) ā some kind and kindred spirits, I think. š
Thanks for stopping by
